Course 1: Myopia Reversal
I have spent over three years experimenting on myself to reverse myopia. Starting in March 2022, I’ve documented my prescription history, tested different reduction levels, and developed practical frameworks — not just theory.
What I Can Teach You
- The “just barely clear” principle — the single most important concept for reversing myopia. How to pick the right prescription reduction so your eyes work correctly.
- Why full-prescription glasses make myopia worse — most people wear glasses that are too strong for near work, causing their eyeballs to elongate further over time.
- The multi-pair approach — keep a strong pair for driving and essential tasks, and a weaker pair (~150–200 degrees below full prescription) for phones, computers, and reading.
- Progressive and bifocal lenses — what I tried, why it didn’t work for me, and how to decide if they’re right for you.
- How to track your progress — simple methods to measure prescription changes at home, with realistic expectations (~0.25D reduction every three months).
- Understanding your eye mechanics — how external eye muscles, lens flexibility, and axial length actually work in daily life.
- My 3-year experiment data — real prescription measurements from 2022 to 2025, documented with timestamps.
- The science — Todd Becker’s research, Yin Wang’s methods, and why near-work is the primary environmental driver of myopia.
- Common mistakes — why “just take off your glasses” doesn’t work, the dangers of over-correction, and how to avoid the same pitfalls I hit.
- Practical tips — ordering cheap glasses online (~60 RMB per pair), testing new prescriptions, and integrating the approach into daily life.
Sample Topics
- Why wearing full prescription for phone/computer use is like wearing high heels to run a marathon
- The 150-degree reduction rule and how to find your sweet spot
- How to tell if you’re making progress without an optometrist visit
- Astigmatism and myopia — why both changed in my experiment
- Driving with under-corrected glasses — the real risks and how I hit a road divider
- Hyperopia (farsightedness) as a sanity check — why the optical industry already accepts scenario-based prescriptions

Course 2: English Learning
I went from poor English (IELTS 6, weak listening/writing/speaking) to daily professional use — enough to work at international banks and communicate fluently. My approach is built on immersion, not rote memorization.
What I Can Teach You
- The immersion method — I spent 16 hours a day on English at my peak. I’ll show you how to integrate English into your existing routines without extra “study time.”
- Tools that actually work — TikTok (international), YouTube, Netflix, Google Podcasts, Kindle — how to use each one effectively for language acquisition.
- How I improved typing from 5 wpm to 20 wpm — the practical skill that unlocked English writing for work.
- Overcoming the listening barrier — I went from “please speak slowly” to understanding fast native speech. The specific techniques that worked.
- Reading real books — my journey through 15+ English books: Hackers and Painters, The Everything Store, Sapiens, The Feynman Lectures on Physics, and more.
- Speaking practice — affordable options (18 CNY per 25-minute session with Filipino tutors on Pinduoduo), natural conversation strategies, and how to practice without a partner.
- The brain-change effect — after enough immersion, your brain rewires. You stop translating and start thinking in English.
- Why exam prep is optional — I improved far faster through genuine interest than through test preparation.
- The 1000-word foundation — master a core vocabulary deeply before chasing rare words.
- Dealing with the Great Firewall — practical workarounds for accessing English content in China.
Sample Topics
- How to use TikTok as your primary English learning tool (yes, really)
- Building a 16-hour English immersion day without burning out
- From high school English to working in an international company — my timeline
- Listening while doing other things: driving, cooking, walking
- Finding Filipino tutors for 18 CNY per session on Pinduoduo

Course 3: Kid Education
I am raising my daughter (born 2021) in Guangzhou. She has accumulated roughly 500 hours of English animation exposure since age 2, and I’ve learned a lot about early childhood education through real parenting experience.
What I Can Teach You
- The English-first strategy — why I prioritized English animations from age 2 and how I handle family disagreements about it.
- Practical setup — Apple TV + Fire TV Stick + VPN for YouTube Kids in China. How to keep it working when the proxy goes down.
- Why digital devices aren’t the enemy — my rebuttal to “screens are bad for kids.” The difference between passive consumption and active learning through English content.
- Projecting the future — if every kid in China starts English immersion early, in 20 years the country could be like Singapore. The generational opportunity.
- 500 hours of English animation — what my daughter learned, how her brain changed, and what she can actually do.
- Parenting philosophy — safety first, broaden perspectives, avoid forcing, encourage independence, foster curiosity, and teach practical skills.
- Practical skills from age 3 — using a remote control, playing mobile games, interacting with ChatGPT via voice, unpacking deliveries.
- Managing family dynamics — how to persuade skeptical relatives and spouses who don’t see the value.
- Tools — YouTube Premium (download for car trips), Apple Arcade, Google Play Pass, and age-appropriate content curation.
Sample Topics
- Why I give my 3-year-old a Google Pixel to watch English animations
- The argument with my parents: Chinese vs English content for kids

Course 5: Software Issue Fix
I’ve accumulated 12 years of professional experience across mobile (Android, iOS), full-stack engineering, cloud platforms, and AI. I can help with software issues on any platform — Linux, Windows, or macOS — from quick configuration tweaks to deep debugging sessions.
What I Can Help With
- Any platform — Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora, Arch), macOS, Windows. Desktop, server, or embedded.
- Difficult or easy — from “how do I install this package” to “why is my kernel module crashing.”
- Open source preferred — I believe in open source solutions. If there’s a good FOSS tool for the job, that’s what I’ll recommend.
- Half-hour sessions — many software issues can be diagnosed and fixed in 30 minutes. You describe the problem, I guide you through the solution live.
- Mobile device issues (iOS/Android) — boot loops, app crashes, ADB/fastboot, jailbreaking/rooting concepts, sideloading, configuration profiles, and troubleshooting app behavior.
- Development environment setup — compilers, interpreters, package managers, IDEs, emulators, simulators, and CI runners.
- Network and connectivity — VPN, proxy, firewall, DNS, SSH tunneling, certificate issues, and debugging network stacks.
- System administration — process management, logging, file permissions, disk space, systemd, cron, backups, and shell scripting.
- Docker and containers — Dockerfiles, compose files, container networking, volume mounts, image optimization, and debugging containerized apps.

Why 50 CNY / 30 min?
I want this to be accessible. 50 CNY is less than a bubble tea. One session is short enough to fit into a busy day but long enough to learn something concrete. You don’t commit to 10 lessons — just show up for what you need.
This is not a course. It’s coaching across five real areas where I have hands-on experience — myopia reversal, English learning, kid education, digital life, and software issue fix. You bring what you’re working on, and I help you get results.
